2025 was a year of transition, growth, and learning in real time.

In this Patreon-exclusive episode, Mehka reflects on a year that reshaped how the CashColorCannabis Podcast is created—from moving from Atlanta to Tampa, to losing weekly studio access, to learning how to edit audio and video independently and record solo more than ever before.

That shift opened the door to new formats and deeper storytelling, including multi-episode series like Flavor + Function with Wana, our work with the MCBA and their 10th anniversary, and timely conversations around social equity—like the Illinois lawsuit impacting operators on the ground. At the same time, the show stayed rooted in what started it all: thoughtful one-on-one interviews with voices like Dasheeda Dawson, Box Brown, and Ryan from the Indie Nerd Collective.

The year closed on a high note in Las Vegas, where Mehka moderated a main-stage panel for the first time and partnered with Blunt Brunch to gift tickets to two listeners—bringing community, access, and intention full circle.
