Sounds like the sheriff could have done it, or at the very least handled the case better, had a run-in with the kid previously to becoming the head hauncho, insisted he was a runaway, didn’t utilize all resources or investigate scenes/items throughly or in a timely manner, blocked release of information to the public, hmmm. Whoever is responsible, Hope justice is found for Tom and his family.
