There they befriended a local bartender by offering to rid his bar, Mayday Malones, of some local biker toughs led by the vampire Mad Martha. Ridley (Ryan LaPlante, @theryanlaplante) slaked his thirst, Everett (Tyler Hewitt, @Tyler_Hewitt) dealt with the humans, and Iris (Megan Miles, @meggiemiles) talked Mad Martha down with an offer of karaoke - but things were about to get messy…

    Last evening, we met our coterie of Kindred, the gangster Ridley Beef (Ryan LaPlante, @theryanlaplante), the detective Everett Fry (Tyler Hewitt, @Tyler_Hewitt), and the inspirational poet Iris Dunn (Megan Miles, @meggiemiles) along with her assistant Emily and their contacts the Bouchard Brothers. The Brothers gave them a potion to learn French, then tasked them with a mission: to establish a foothold in Montreal. A mission they set out on tonight under the eye of Storyteller Tom McGee (@mcgeetd).

When I first started listening, I honestly thought it was an audiobook. The way the Storyteller paints each scene, paired with the incredible voice work from the cast, is truly top-tier. I’d even go so far as to say it rivals Critical Role—but for the World of Darkness.

What really stands out is how the Storyteller takes brief moments to explain mechanics or lore, just enough for newcomers to follow along without breaking the flow.

I can’t wait to sink my fangs into the rest of this series.
