• Calhoun capped an undefeated region record (6-0) with a 35-9 rout of Lafayette, earning the #6 seed in Class AAA vs. Lumpkin County.
• Gordon Central had an epic 20-16 comeback win over Dade County (down 16-0 early), clinching a 7-3 mark overall and the #26 seed in Single A vs. Jasper County—this earned the WHOLE team Player of the Week honors, courtesy of Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
• Sonoraville seals a 5-5 record with a 45-22 explosion over Union County, landing the #23 seed in AA vs. Burke County.
