Calhoun Falls to Douglass in 2nd Round | Calhoun-Gordon County Football Show Season Finale

The Calhoun-Gordon County High School Football Show, presented by AdventHealth, closes the book on 2025 with a bittersweet season finale. Brandon Joseph and Mitch Talley (Sports Editor of the Calhoun Times) look back on a wild, wet night at The Reeve where the Calhoun Yellow Jackets -- owners of one of Georgia’s most explosive offenses -- were shockingly shut out 12-0 by the Douglass Astros in the second round.

We also celebrate an outstanding year across the county: Calhoun finishes 9-3 with a powerhouse sophomore QB Trace Hawkins returning, Gordon Central posts its best record (7-4) in over a decade, and Sonoraville battles to a 5-5 regular season and another playoff berth.
