  • Coaching While Black (CWB): Hosts Chris, Anthony, and Armond discuss what’s healing and harmful within sports—specific to their perspective as expert Black coaches. Though spoken from the Black voice, these conversations set to inspire all humans who support young people in sport to create positive and safe environments for all athletes. Coaching While Black is a podcast of the non-profit the Center for Healing and Justice through Sport. CHJS works to ensure that more young people and athletes have access to sport experiences that address issues of systemic injustice and are inclusive and healing-centered. CHJS engages with sport at every level. From community centers and juvenile detention facilities to major college athletic conferences and professional leagues, the CHJS team puts a premium on teaching coaches to deliver healing-centered sport experiences while protecting, nurturing, and embracing athletes for every bit of who they are.
