This is a special Crossroads series. In every relationship, as time passes, things change. Sometimes they change for better, other times for worse. Our church has changed dramatically over the past decade. God has moved in powerful ways, and we are grateful. That said, like in any church, it can become easy to begin to connect with leaders, programs, and the flow of events and miss the connection that matters most. In this series we are reconnecting to the untamed reality of the church, and how that impacts us as a church. We want to be sure that we are always more connected to the master than anything else. We move against the flow, and we challenge every person to be transformed and join the fight!

As believers, God has called us to be cultivators of life from Genesis 1. The very first command of Scripture to humanity is to “Be fruitful”. We should be people that stand out from the crowd, that live differently, and that honor God in all they do because of the Holy Spirit that lives inside of us. In Galatians 5, Paul says that for freedom Christ has set us free, and in response we can live filled with the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit should come out of our life. The fruit of our life has an impact on everyone around us and is a reflection of our connection to God according to John 15: “Apart from me you can do nothing”. So everyday we choose whether to walk with the Spirit or in our flesh, and with every decision we cultivate something: let it be life. Walk through this series with us as we contrast what it means to walk in the Spirit or the flesh.
