CONNECT 4WARD

Something was missing. I was trying to connect with something greater. It is and always has been about interconnectedness. Relations, the moments with another human that show us who we are and how feel inside whenever face to face. You perceive the world in the way you feel inside. Online connection has made it possible to not be lonely, or to feel that void. My story and part of this process is the connection to myself. Within lies something deeper. More than a feeling or voice in your head. Trust, confidence, perseverance, self-control, etc. the areas of my life I wasn’t shown or disciplined in. As I connect to my inner child, the ever flowing current energy that lies beneath the surface of who I am and how I feel is more clear than ever before… the doubt fights or so my mind likes to think as it fights for its life. ____________ This is an introduction of the next three episodes that I started creating October 21, 2022 up until November 15, 2022. “Go for it, Connect 4?” Get it? A popular slogan or a popular game from my own childhood. My creative process is expanding every moment, and as I build my connection internally the outside world reflects that and how I am transforming and feeling. I have all these ideas, but I am working on how to make it flow so others can follow how personal and unique my beliefs are. You might be strictly religious, atheist, enlightened, guru, and the list is infinite. What if you are just you? How would that be perceived? Why is there animosity and “one way is the highway” is the mentality? Pop culture such as music, films, art, books, and fashion have always been a part of me and never will leave. I struggle to find myself. My identity in a world full of noise. I’m adaptable to others... one of my many gifts. Whether for a cause, political movement, or a sense of community… a connection with your inner self with pave the way to a connection to the rest of the world. Curious like a child, but also a skeptic of my own beliefs, I continue to truly enjoy this life I was given.
