We've been married for one year and nine months, and we left our home, car, jobs, friends, and family behind to come here. Why? Because we felt God calling us to take this step of faith.

It's okay to hang out with people who are different from you.
It's okay not to click with everyone in your disciple group — learn to love them anyway.
It's okay to have a bad day, or even a "no" day.

But it's not okay to try to follow Jesus while avoiding His people.
The Church is not optional. It's God's design.

The disciples didn't choose each other — they chose Jesus. But following Jesus meant being in relationship with Peter, Matthew, John, and the rest.

Imagine telling Jesus: "I want to follow you — but not with them. Just me and you, okay?"

But it doesn't work that way. You can't be in relationship with Jesus and reject His bride.

The church was born through the Holy Spirit, the church cannot live without Him.
