  • Week 2: God So Loved the World: God Entered It
    Mar 15 2026

This week’s message, “God So Loved the World, God Entered It,” takes John 3:16 out of the bullhorn and back into the midnight conversation where it started—with a religious insider who was full of questions and afraid to be seen doubting. We look at how this verse has been weaponized against queer kids, addicts, doubters, and anyone who doesn’t fit the “good church person” mold, and we ask what it actually means that God loved the world in this way: by entering it, not condemning it.

If you’ve ever heard “God loves you” and “you’re an abomination” in the same breath, this sermon is for you. We explore how “whoever believes” is not a doctrinal quiz but a trust fall, how eternal life is a kind of aliveness that starts now, and why Jesus is not God’s weapon against you but God’s way of standing in your pain so closely you can’t tell where His ends and yours begins.

Whether you’re a Nicodemus type with a polished church résumé, a queer kid in the back row, or someone watching from the shadows with your faith hanging by a thread, this is an invitation to hear John 3:16 again—without the threats, without the fine print, and without the “except you.”

  • A Man Called Jesus: The Investigative Series | Week 1
    Mar 13 2026

What if Jesus is the clearest picture of what God actually looks like?Week 1 of A Man Called Jesus: The Investigative Series begins with Exhibit A — a leper who asks a question many of us are still asking:“If You are willing…”In Mark 1:40–42, a man nobody wanted gets close to Jesus. He doesn’t question Jesus’ power. He questions His heart. And Jesus answers not with distance, but with touch. In this message, we explore:• Why addiction mirrors leprosy in the modern world• Why shame makes us question God’s willingness• What Jesus’ reaction reveals about the true character of God• And what it means to “go where the leprosy lives”This isn’t self-help.This isn’t religious performance. This is an investigation. If Jesus is what God looks like in human skin, then we have to decide what to do with that evidence. If you’re in active addiction, early recovery, relapse, or walking with someone who is — this message is for you.Scripture: Mark 1:40–42Series: A Man Called JesusWeek 1 – The Leper & AddictionIf this message helped you, share it with someone who needs to hear: “I am willing.”

  • Forgiveness Part 1
    May 18 2025

Forgiveness Part 1 – Lesson Notes

    Introduction:

    • Welcome everyone and brief recap of our series on forgiveness.

    • Remind everyone of the importance of forgiveness in our spiritual journey.

    • Begin with a prayer asking God to open hearts and guide the message.

    Main Scripture:

    • Matthew 6:14-15 – “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

    • Ephesians 4:32 – “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

    I. What Forgiveness Is (And What It Isn’t)

    • Forgiveness is releasing the right to hold onto anger, resentment, or the desire for revenge.

    • It is not forgetting the hurt, condoning the wrong, or allowing continued abuse.

    II. The Weight of Unforgiveness

    • Share the story of the unforgiving servant (Matthew 18:21-35).

    • Emphasize that holding onto bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer.

    III. Why We Must Forgive

    • We forgive because God first forgave us (Colossians 3:13).

    • Unforgiveness is a barrier between us and God’s grace.

    • Share a brief, personal story about the struggle of forgiveness.

    IV. Steps to Begin Forgiving

    • Acknowledge the hurt – be honest with yourself and with God.

    • Pray for strength – forgiveness is not always easy, but God provides the strength.

    • Release the offense – this doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt, but it means you are choosing not to let it control you.

    V. Reflection and Altar Call

    • Invite everyone to reflect on anyone they may need to forgive.

    • Give a moment of silent prayer for personal forgiveness.

    • Offer a brief altar call for anyone who needs to surrender their heart and ask for God's help to forgive.

    Closing Prayer:

    • Lead the congregation in a closing prayer of forgiveness, asking God to help them let go of pain, bitterness, and anger.

    • Remind them of God’s promise to forgive as we forgive others.")
