The Veiled Vanguard journeys through the haunted roads of the Sanguisian Empire, battling paranoia, spectral horrors, and the crushing weight of guilt as Percy unravels and Ro’Zaad confesses his thirst for vengeance. Reaching the industrial city of Ashus, they seek salvation from a creeping curse at the Temple of Nixus, where blood is traded for absolution beneath a breathtaking night sky. Cleansed yet fractured, the party finds brief refuge—only to awaken and discover that Ro’Zaad and Thalia have vanished without goodbye, pursuing their own dark paths.
