• Back to School Extravaganza at the ARC Sports and Recreational Center helped families prepare for the school year
• Bikers for Backpacks will host another school supply giveaway on August 16th at Piney River Tap Room (5-7pm)
• Daniel Sheldon from the Electric Department received the 2025 MPUA Personnel Service Award
• Roads and Grounds team completed 22 service orders, hauled 105 loads of rocks, and performed numerous maintenance tasks
• Upcoming events include the Bad Dog Race (August 16th), Pink Sugar car and craft show (August 30th), and YMCA Patriot Day (September 13th)
• The city aims to reach 2,000 downloads of the Waynesville City app by December 31st
