  • How many Heisman Trophy candidates are Ohio State’s 2025 roster? Mark It Down Monday
    Aug 16 2025
It’s another Mark It Down Monday, and as the 2025 college football season draws near, it’s time for Stephen Means, Stefan Krajisnik and Andrew Gillis to check in with some major predictions. In this episode, it’s the Heisman Trophy and Ohio State's recent history of finalists. Since Ryan Day arrived in 2017, OSU has had at least one finalist in all but two years. Three have been quarterbacks, plus a wide receiver and a defensive end. Can that run continue in 2025? They each provide who they think will be the top four for the award and why they picked the winner. Plus, a conversation about whether a third non-quarterback could join Chase Young and Marvin Harrison Jr. by doing so. • Evaluating Ohio State's 2025 defensive line depth heading into the season
    Aug 15 2025
Ohio State is in the middle of the largest defensive line reload Larry Johnson has probably ever experienced. Not only is Johnson trying to replace the production left behind by four starters now on NFL teams, but he's also looking for new leaders. Johnson is trying to both quickly assemble an inexperienced group for a massive season opener while also setting up OSU's future at the position. On this episode of Buckeye Stephen Means, Stefan Krajisnik and Andrew Gillis break down how that's going by looking at the names most in need of a breakout season. I've listened to the pod for years, and while it's still my go to buckeye info source, I barely listen to it anymore. before Doug left I listened to almost every episode just to hear what he'd say. I miss Doug, like a lot. he's a unique character who even helped my dad get into the pod. i think he still listens occasionally, but he misses Doug even more than me.
still, the style, focus, topics, access, and more continue to be present and my favorite among the buckeye podcasts I've briefly checked out.
go bucks!

i miss Doug

These three monkeys are nothing opinionated retards. Nathan is from Iowa / Illinois that talks about Purdue like they’re heads and shoulders above the Buckeyes.🤮🤮🤮
