Breska Rovers Book Special, with Clara McGann

I chatted with Clara McGann, who is currently writing a comprehensive history of Breska Rovers AFC and its predecessor, All Blacks AFC. Clara’s project aims to bring together the stories, documents, and personal accounts that shaped the club over the decades, all in time for its 50th Anniversary in 2027.

Throughout our chat, Clara shares her vision for the book and the wide range of voices she hopes to include—former players, managers, supporters, and anyone connected to the club, whether directly or through family ties. She also discusses the materials she’s gathering, from photographs and match reports to newspaper clippings and handwritten memories, all of which will help piece together a full and authentic narrative.
