It was our pleasure to sit down and chat with Gene and Shay, a queer nomadic couple who have been living in their van for the last 2 years with their two cats, Bean and Sprout. Throughout their various social media platforms, they share the realities of life on the road, their experiences as a queer couple in the van life space, and how to make money on the road.

They’ve been married for a little over a year and currently live in Tennessee. On their first date, they talked about traveling the US in an RV together, and bought their 2001 Hurricane in June 2022.
