The square still smells of the last fight, and odd communion runes appear everywhere — in altars, on doorframes, and etched into the walls — drawing the party’s attention and stirring memories of the Hunter’s Dream. Dominicus studies the sigils; Macy discovers a curious, barbed rune on a nun’s corpse; and the group pieces together why they’ve been brought to this place.
