Aries season already carries the energy of a beginning — it’s the first sign of the zodiac, the spark before the flame, the inhale before the leap. And since it’s the first new moon since the astrological new year, the New Moon in Aries is inviting you to reset within the reset.

Aries is the sign that rules initiation, desire, and the courage to simply begin. The ram doesn’t deliberate. It doesn’t ask for permission or soften its edges to make others more comfortable. It moves toward what it wants — and for just a little while that energy is available to all of us.

So this new moon, we’re not just setting intentions. We’re going back to the most foundational questions there are:

Who am I, right now, in this version of my life?

    What do I actually want?

Not what you wanted last year. Not what looks good on paper. Not the edited, palatable version you’d share in a room full of people or in a newsletter update. The real thing. The tender, fiery, unfiltered thing.

    For this ritual, you’ll need:

-About 20 minutes in a quiet, private space

-A journal and something to write with

    -A candle

Something red — a crystal, an object, or a red candle — to call in the energy of Aries and its ruler, Mars

Light your candle. Set your red object beside it. Let this time be just for you.

    And let yourself want things.

After you’ve sat with the ritual — how are you feeling? Take some time to reflect on what surfaced and let yourself continue to write for as long as it feels good.

You are invited to share in the comments on Substack as a paid subscriber.

  • Full Moon In Libra Ritual
    Mar 31 2026
This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit emilynachazel.substack.com

Full moons are points of culmination, illumination, and release — and this one falls in Libra, the sign of the scales. In this ritual we’re using that energy to pause, look inward, and ask: how am I truly doing right now?

This ritual includes a guided video, a breathing meditation, and a vessel check-in — a wellness wheel inspired by the houses of astrology that invites you to assess the different areas of your life not for perfect “balance,” but for the harmony that’s right for your current season. Because balance isn’t 50/50. Different seasons call for different ingredients, different amounts.

This practice helps you listen to what’s actually true for you so you can celebrate where you’re feeling fulfilled and identify where to pour your energy next.

    For this ritual you'll need:

About 15 minutes of uninterrupted space

A notebook, journal, or loose leaf paper

    Something to write with

Optional: colored pencils, pens, or crayons

Your printed or on-screen Vessel Check-In worksheet (download below ↓)

    Tending To Your Vessel Check-In

This practice is one I teach inside The Mothermind Leadership Training, and it’s something you can return to at the start of any new season — a new astrological year, after a big life transition, when your rhythms shift. You are invited to come back to it often.

In this practice you’ll move through your wellness wheel, rating how fulfilled you feel in 12 different areas of your life — your body, your relationships, your work, your community, and more.

To listen to the full ritual and download the Tending To Your Vessel PDF, become a paid subscriber on Substack for only $8/month.

  • Eclipse Integration Ritual
    Mar 17 2026

We are coming out of one of the most potent astrological seasons of the year — and if you’ve been feeling it, this episode is for you.

This week’s episode isn’t here to give you more information. It’s here to give you something we need now more than ever: a moment of integration. A guided ritual to help you process, reflect, compost, and complete the last six weeks of Eclipse season — so you can move forward with clarity, rootedness, and intention.

Inside this episode, I walk you through a full integration ritual that includes:

-Grounding and settling into sacred space

-Celebrating what you accomplished (big or small)

-Reflecting on what didn’t go as planned — and finding the medicine in it

-Asking why from a higher perspective, especially during Eclipse season

-Clarifying how you want to move forward differently

This ritual is one you can return to after any significant period — a launch, a project, a season of motherhood, a challenging relationship. But Eclipse portals in particular are potent harvesting moments. Especially this one. With the North Node now in Aquarius and the South Node in Leo, the lessons coming through are about our leadership and our communities.

I also share some exciting news at the end — the Moon Rituals are coming back as part of our paid tier starting in April with the new astrological year!

  • Anger Alchemy: A Somatic Practice for Leaders
    Feb 24 2026
This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit emilynachazel.substack.com

There is a fire moving through the collective right now — and as leaders, our work is not to suppress it or spew it out into the world, but to transmute it into something that can actually be used for good.

This episode is an invitation to do exactly that.

In this solo episode of Birthing the New, I guide you through a full-body anger alchemy practice for those moments when the rage, frustration, and righteous fire feel too big to hold. Whether it’s rising up in response to the state of the world, the demands of motherhood, or the quiet resentments that have gone unspoken for too long. Rather than bypassing what’s alive in you, this practice creates a sacred container to move it through your body and listen for what lives underneath.

We will not birth a more loving, more equitable, more generative world by being angry at the old one. We have to feel it, alchemize it — and let it become something that can create real change.

This practice is for you if:

    * You’re carrying anger you don’t quite know what to do with — personal, collective, or both

    * You tend to go to sadness, tears, or anxiety rather than expressing anger, but you know it’s there and you’re ready to feel it

    * You know the fire in you has something important to say, and you know the importance of listening — now more than ever

This full practice is available to paid subscribers of the Birthing the New Substack. For just $8/month or $80/year, you’ll receive monthly somatic practices like this one, plus behind-the-scenes strategy on building a business that truly supports your life. A limited number of Founding Member spots are also available, which includes a personalized one-on-one somatic support audit with me.

    Become a paid subscriber.

How did this practice land for you? I’d love to hear what surfaced. Share in the comments below on Substack, or hit reply to the podcast email to send me a note instead.

  • Building A Business That Mothers You Back
    Feb 10 2026

January felt like six weeks. Did it feel like that for you too?

In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on why the podcast has been quiet for the past month and what’s shifting, both personally and collectively, as we move through these turning times.

If you’re a listener of the podcast, I’m guessing you are someone who has been feeling this fundamental energetic shift we are experiencing. Information is no longer the currency. The old ways of showing up online (the long-form podcasts, the information-heavy courses, the constant content creation) are evolving. And I can feel myself evolving with them.

This episode is about what’s possible when you stop carrying your business alone. When you stop churning out launches and content like a machine. When you realize that thinking about your work all the time and mapping your next step isn’t passion, it’s a survival response.

In this episode I offer several solutions for how you can create new support structures and systems that allow you to shift out of that survival response. So that you can get off of the hamster wheel, and finally experience a version of your business that is capable of mothering you back.

In this episode, I talk about:

Some big announcements in the coaching space, like Jenna Kutcher shutting down her podcast and Amy Porterfield closing her course academy

Why information is no longer the currency and what is taking its place

The real reason you’re thinking about your business all the time

Three specific solutions to stop feeling like your business is 100% dependent on you

What’s coming to the podcast: a paid tier with practices, integration support, and behind-the-scenes access

The MOTHERMIND: our intimate cohort for women ready to build businesses that mother them back [Apply Here!]

Tune in on Substack, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen!

What’s resonating with you right now? Are you tired of thinking about your business all the time? Are you ready to build systems and support so you’re not carrying everything alone? I’d love to know what landed for you in this episode.

    Big Hugs,

    Emily

  • Raising Your Human Flag In 2026: Big Astrology, AI, Trends & Staying Human in Business
    Jan 9 2026

As we start to wrap up our first full week of 2026, I can honestly say this year feels different.

In this episode, I invited Jenna Knapp back to look ahead at what’s coming in 2026—the astrology, the trends, the shifts we’re already sensing, and how I’m approaching it all in my company and life.

We’re in turning times, y’all. I’ve said this so many times. And 2026 is the year when the changes we’ve been feeling under the surface actually start to sprout. The outer planets are all shifting signs—something that hasn’t happened in this way since the dawn of Western civilization. We’re moving from the dreamy, marinating energy of Pisces into the fiery, action-oriented territory of Aries. Which means the new isn’t just simmering anymore—it’s going to break through the soil.

But here’s what matters most: in a world accelerating toward AI, algorithms, and techno-everything, there’s a quiet revolution happening. People are craving real contact. Real humans. Real trust. Impact.

That’s where the human flag comes in.

2026 is the year where you get to plant yourself firmly in your values, your humanness, your realness. To stand on what you believe so that others can find you. Because in 2026, the businesses and leaders who will rise are the ones who choose embodiment over automation, integration over information, and human connection over mastering the algorithim.

In this episode, we talk about:

-The major astrological shifts of 2026 and what they mean for how we do business and life

-Why the trust recession is real—and why being imperfect, emotional, and human in your business is now your greatest asset

-How I’m retraining myself for long-form content instead of short and snappy captions that catch attention

-The move back to in-person community, local connection, and feet-on-the-ground relating

-Why I’m pulling back from social media and what I’m doing instead

-The deep letting go that’s required to make space for a 10X leap

Tune in on Substack, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen!

What are you raising your human flag for in 2026? I’d love to know what resonated with you from this episode. What seeds are you planting? What are you letting go? How are you choosing to show up as a human this year? Come hang out on Substack and leave a comment to let us know what's alive for you!

    Big Hugs,

    Emily

  • 2025 Lookback: How I Close a Year in Business
    Dec 30 2025

In this final episode of the year, I invited my support gal, Jenna Knapp onto the podcast to reflect on the wins, lessons, and surprises that happened within my company during 2025.

Together, we look back on the year that didn’t quite turn out the way anyone thought it would.

Of course I loved this year because it gave me the greatest gift, the birth of my daughter Sadie Aurora. But it also was full of surprises that illustrated again and again that things are changing and the old way of doing business is no longer working.

In this episode we pull back the curtain as we celebrate all of the wins (a practice I always do with clients at the end of my containers), examine what worked, and identify what is ready to be composted for 2026 growth.

Get cozy, grab some tea, and come sit with us as we take you behind the scenes of how I close a year in business.

This episode is for you if —

-You want a transparent, behind-the-scenes look at how I actually close a year in business

-You know you should slow down and celebrate your wins, but you often rush straight into “what’s next” instead

-You enjoy year-end reflection practices and want to follow along with meaningful prompts you can apply to your own life or business

-2025 didn’t go the way you expected — and you’re still integrating the lessons before stepping into 2026

-You’re holding both gratitude and exhaustion, pride and grief, and want permission for all of it to coexist

Tune in on Substack, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen!

How did this episode resonate with you? I’d love to know what 2025 was like for you. What are you celebrating? What grew? What are you composting?

    Big Hugs,

    Emily

  • When the Urge to Quit Is Trying to Tell You Something
    Dec 16 2025

In this solo episode of Birthing the New, I share a guided somatic practice for those moments when you feel exasperated, depleted, or on the brink of giving up — particularly as an experienced business owner navigating a year that hasn’t unfolded the way you expected.

Rather than rushing to burn everything down, this practice invites you to slow down, come into your body, and sit with the part of you that wants to quit — not to override her, but to listen. Often, this urge isn’t asking you to abandon your vision, but to release a way of showing up that is no longer sustainable.

This episode is especially resonant as we close out a challenging year and stand on the edge of what’s next.

This episode is for you if —

You need to hear that the desire to quit is not inherently wrong — and can actually be a compass

You know you’re in a “soil work” season of your business rather than a visible growth phase

Deep down you know you don’t actually want to quit, but you know something needs to change

Tune in on Substack, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen!

How did this episode resonate with you? I’d love to know what surfaced for you while moving through this somatic practice. Share in the comments below on Substack or hit reply to the podcast email to send me and email instead!

    Big Hugs,

    Emily

P.S. If you loved this practice and know you want to dive into more somatic work, my course Made For More is where you learn how to expand your capacity to receive and hold money through somatics.
