Why I don’t love the term birth preferences and why I still believe in calling it a birth plan. While birth can take many normal variations, that doesn’t mean women should be coached into passivity or told to “go with the flow.” We’ll talk about ownership, flexibility, and why planning doesn’t set you up for disappointment... it prepares you to make informed, confident decisions even if the plan changes.
