Bill reforming Mississippi's CON laws signed by governor

Certificate-of-need laws are designed to lower health care costs by preventing service duplication, but some argue that they are anti-competitive. A bill reforming Mississippi’s certificate-of-need laws passed both chambers of the state legislature with unanimous support.
