  • TheTake The Trip Foundation, is more than just sending families with a terminal diagnosis on one last family trip. This foundation is also a resource for families who are coping through a terminal illness, or the loss of a spouse/parent.  On today's episode, we talk to KinderMourn's Katy Ryan, and Clinical Director Kaela O'Donnell.  KinderMourn is a Charlotte, NC based business that provides hope for bereaved parents, and grieving children by offering support and counseling programs.

    Katy, Kaela, and the TTTF Founder Jason Carroll, talk to us about to work through the grieving process with a child, and how to better understand their BIG Feelings.  You will hear stories first hand, as well as tips to help navigate your child through a traumatic event, by helping them to express their own feelings.
