And. so in Hab. 2:1, the prophet states that he will,"I will stand on my guard post And station myself on the rampart; like a soldier the prophet stood on his post and waited expectantly on a word for the Lord. Habakkuk approached waiting on a word from the Lord like doing a job. And like many of you who have prayed, who have asked God to give you a word, you have to wait patiently for it. You have to wait for it like it is your job. Take the waiting seriously and expectantly, because it is coming.

Also, when you watch the news at night, do you take notice of the lies that are told to you every day by corrupt politicians? Furthermore, do you take notice of all the various social disorders plaguing American society, such as the increasing levels of poverty and all the health disparities within the nation. And out of what you observed, do you ever contemplate is God even taking notice of it all ?

    Well, if you do then you have something in common with Habakkuk the Prophet and his feelings that he had for his community is something Christians should emulate, because it shows that you have a connection with the Holy Spirit that dwells within you. This is a healthy feeling to happen because it shows fellowship with God over the sins of your community.
