Hello…
and welcome back to Beyond the Notes with Srikanth.
If this is your first time here, let me say this gently—
this isn’t a podcast only about music.
It’s not just about success or business either.
This is a space to slow down,
step away from the noise,
and listen to what life is quietly teaching us—
beyond the notes.
Today’s episode comes from a very personal place.
From exhaustion. From clarity. From letting go.
And from being more honest with myself than before.
This episode is called “The DAD Formula – Delete, Automate, Delegate.”
It’s not a productivity hack.
It’s a concept I learned from my mentor, Sidz—
and slowly, without realising, began living.
As I move closer to my 1 Crore Champion goal,
one truth has become impossible to ignore:
growth doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from removing what no longer belongs.
For years, I believed effort alone was enough.
Work harder. Sleep less. Push more.
But effort slowly turned into exhaustion.
Clarity turned into clutter.
Progress didn’t stop loudly—it leaked silently.
Time leaked.
Energy leaked.
Focus leaked.
And most dangerously—identity leaked.
That’s when three simple words stayed with me:
Delete. Automate. Delegate.
Maybe it stayed because I am a dad.
Fatherhood changes how you think.
You stop romanticising chaos.
You start respecting sustainability.
Delete
Delete is not about apps or tasks.
Delete is about ending versions of yourself.
After 16–18 hour workdays, my nights looked the same—
scrolling reels, shorts, endless content.
I told myself it was rest.
But it wasn’t. It was escape.
One night, I paused and asked:
Is this rest… or is this numbness?
That night, I stopped scrolling.
I started listening—to real conversations, real journeys.
The next day, I acted immediately.
No perfection. No overthinking.
My content crossed 800+ views after months of stagnation.
I didn’t feel excitement.
I felt confirmation.
Deleting one habit didn’t create free time.
It created belief.
And belief is fuel.
Automate
Carrying everything in your head is not strength.
It’s slow self-destruction.
Leads, messages, follow-ups—
all lived in my mind, creating constant background anxiety.
When we implemented AI systems at Music360,
something shifted.
The business developed a brain outside of me.
Conversations happened without my presence.
Follow-ups didn’t depend on memory.
Systems worked even when I rested.
Automation didn’t make me less human.
It protected my humanity.
Delegate
Delegation isn’t hard because of logistics.
It’s hard because of ego.
I believed—quietly—that if I didn’t do it myself,
it wouldn’t be done right.
But that belief was fear wearing responsibility’s mask.
Delegating my podcast editing gave me space.
Not emptiness—space.
Delegation didn’t cost me money.
It gave me time.
And time is the only currency that compounds.
The Shift
The DAD Formula didn’t optimise my workflow.
It restructured my identity.
I stopped asking, What more can I do?
I started asking, What no longer needs me?
Delete what drains you.
Automate what exhausts you.
Delegate what limits you.
If this episode spoke to you, pause before returning to noise.
Ask one honest question today.
This is Beyond the Notes with Srikanth.
Until next time—
stay grounded, stay curious, and keep listening…
beyond the notes with Srikanth. 🎹🎸
