Welcome to season one, episode one of the Beyond the Athlete Podcast! The Beyond the Athlete Podcast welcomes athletes from around the world to share their stories and their truth. For the very first special guest on the Beyond the Athlete Podcast host, Mikaela Mattes, welcomes former Washington State University QB and CFL professional football player, Alex Brink to the show.

In addition to Alex's professional football career, he has worked as part of the on-air radio team covering Washington State University football and he also started a program called EForce Sports, which offers personal training to athletes from the high school ranks up through the pros.

Throughout the show, Alex and Mikaela discuss a wide range of topics that allows listeners to get to know who Alex is beyond the athlete.
