  • Jamie Inglis (Part 1): A little boy's brave fight against neuroblastoma
    May 9 2024

In 2013, seven-year-old Jamie Inglis lost his brave battle against a rare form of childhood cancer. His story captured the hearts of people across York and beyond who came together to raise thousands of pounds to send him to the US for treatment.

In Part 1 of this Between These Walls special, Jamie's mum Vicky Inglis recalls his fight against neuroblastoma eleven years on and how the kindness of the community helped him get the treatment he needed and live a happy 18 months in remission.

Vicky is keen to stress that Jamie's story is a positive one - and how it led her on a path to supporting other families facing childhood cancer through her work with Solving Kids Cancer UK.
