The answer is “Yes” for many of us including Jessica Vasquez, Netflix’s LatinX Employee Resource Group Lead. Born to Colombian parents, Jessica grew up with the belief that hard work was extremely important as was being quiet.

As she grew professionally in the entertainment industry working for companies such as Viacom, HBO, and Netflix, Jessica came to realize as a Latina growing in position and influence that while there is strength in silence, there is more power in using your voice to be the change you want to see.
