  • #24 | Caitie Belle
    Aug 26 2024

Caitie is the general manager at the boxing gym Peter and Arthur work at, a former personal trainer, and a fitness influencer. We talk about a wide array of subjects from dating to fitness, and we touch on the essay I wrote and aired prior to this episode, specifically about the inability for people to know themselves in a world where screen time is taking over lives. We had much more to discuss and we will probably meet up again to discuss. Let us know what you think.

Exciting news for today’s episode! We have our first ever guest on A Better Life Walkthrough. Today I am joined by my friend Dominick Lanzetta. Or as most of you will know him: Coach Dom. Coach Dom is a mixed martial artist and the Head Muay Thai Coach for my gym: The BXNG Club at Kearny Mesa, San Diego. Today we share some of our biggest lessons extracted from our experiences as coaches and fighters and from life in general. We touch on some of our fight stories, early childhood and therapy experiences, relationships, and many more topics that have helped us cultivate better lives for ourselves. No doubt, Dom will be on many more times, but I really hope you enjoy this first time ever experience here at A Better Life Walkthrough. There will be many more guests to come in the near future. Please leave recommendations of who you would like to see on the show….or if you would like to be on the show. So, without any further ado, here is Dominick Lanzetta.

  • #12 Best Quotes from Friedrich Nietzsche
    Jun 3 2024

We shared Nietzsche's quotes on love, his controversial thoughts on Christianity, his typical cynicism and surprising optimism on our species in general, and his profound wisdom on morality. This was a fun one, we hope you stuck around for the full episode.

Starting this episode we started a new segment: Vice Highlight!

During this segment we breakdown some of our experiences with one particular common vice and share some articles and solutions to that vice. We hope this segment can be inspiring and educational when it comes to getting out of your own way. On this episode we focused on doom-scrolling. This a common vice and one that, we believe, hinders happiness.

  • You Have NO Free Will. Now What? | How Determinism Can Optimize Positive Change.
    Aug 14 2025

This is the section from my longer essay found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HloZPko_QgI&t=7688s Initially I was unwilling to cut up my long-form essays into smaller pieces because it leaves some to cherry pick and strawman certain arguments without the full context. To some degree, I was proven right with this conjecture with my essay critiquing religion- the full essay was extremely well received, yet the smaller clips I uploaded were taken as contentious and provocative. Needless to say, being contentious and provocative was never my intent. My true intent always has been and always will be to use practical philosophy to better the world, indulge in learning, and have a fun creative outlet, among other things. However, this essay was 4 hours long and, understandably, many did not listen to the full thing, and I obviously wrote this to be listened to. So, I will upload this into a handful of smaller sized videos such as this in hopes it will be listened to. It is far from perfect, but after recently re-listening to it, I want many of the points I made to be heard. If you disagree with me, just know that I am on your side. I write what I write in order to help people and am convinced of what I write until I write an update. So, if you disagree with me, please comment below; I love discussion and truth-seeking. However, if you think I am attacking you because some of my essays are controversial, understand that is not the case, and I would appreciate civility in the comment section. Thank you all. Stay guided by reason, and motivated by love.

  • Guided By Reason | Why Should You Value Reason??
    Jul 12 2025

This will be the first of a 3pt essay. I'll likely still upload a full version after I break it up. I prefer the long version, but people tend to turn away from videos over an hour long and I get why. So, for now, enjoy part 1! Stay guided by reason and motivated by love!
