Please note, in between the recording and airing of this episode, Congress passed the omnibus spending bill, which de-coupled the end of the PHE from the beginning of the unwinding of the Medicaid maintenance of effort requirements. Any reference to the end of the PHE should be considered the beginning of the unwinding scheduled for April 1, 2023.
