In the inaugural episode of “MS NOW Presents: Clock It,” Symone Sanders Townsend and Eugene Daniels share the latest coming out of the Texas Senate race, chat about how Jeff Bezos had enough pocket change for the “Melania” documentary but not enough for the journalists and readers of The Washington Post, and they kiki about how the Benito Bowl was a love letter to ALL of the Americas. Plus, President Fitzgerald Grant III (aka Tony Goldwyn) stops by, along with Tony-winning actor Myles Frost. They talk about their new play “Chez Joey,” why artists need community (just like the rest of us), and using their work to make people uncomfortable.

WELLLLL! I have to say I just listened to yiur 1st episode today while at the eye doctor and I was so mad when they called me in to see the doctor while I was listening to the show. I love both of you but especially you Simone, you are my little sister from another mother. Still got mad love for you Eugene. This podcast is very informative bringing us older listeners, I'm 56 years young, into the conversation. I love the mix of politics and culture because they have always gone hand in hand but much more relevant today. I love that you both play off each other's knowledge and backgrounds, it brings the whole conversation together and makes it easy to understand and listen to. I also love that you "are not trying to place your words" you guys are speaking to us the audience like you're sitting in our livingroom like we family and I love that. The interview with your two guest was really, really good as well. when I got home from the eye doctor I told my husband about the posldcast and I will be checking it out again with him. He said he may not be able to handle you[Simone] and me in stereo[old school, lol] in his ears. It's like double trouble, lol. I have recently been eliminating subscriptions but I will be subscribing because I want every bit of content from CLOCK IT I can get and as fast as I can get it. Together you both have something fabulous and I am absolutely along for the ride. CLOCK THAT!
A huge, huge fan,
Angelique
