It was wet, cold and completely unispiring in East Lancashire this weekend, as Latics lost 1-0 at Accrington Stanley. It felt to many that the game was lost before KO when the team sheet consisted of Joe Quigley up front on his own and no Drummond or Fondop, who were so effective in the win the previous week against Newport.
