BONUS Episode: Author Interview

This interview was recorded on April 16, 2021 by Gayle Kimball for her radio show "Ask Dr, Gayle" on KZFR public radio in Chico, Ca,  She asks great questions that elicit answers about details of story and the motivation behind producing it.

The story was good and I was entertained

I loved the story. This is my genre. I appreciated the action and the characters and their relationships. The sound effects were amazing. The author’s knowledge of plants and wildlife is fantastic. I would have given it five stars except for a few things. The author and narrator’s voices and performance were great. The young lady that read Hope’s part was great. The characters who added toward the end were not great. The 2 female parts sounded like they were being read, not spoken and the performance was stiff. Words were mispronounced and dialogue was rushed. It went downhill for me because of those things. I especially hated the interview at the end where we got a dose of hating on President Trump, and politics crammed down our throats. I lost respect for the author quickly when I heard that interview.
