As a long time Texas resident, Jeff has always identified with the spirit of freedom and liberty that so distinctly embodies what it means to be called a Texan. He’s truly a rock solid unapologetic conservative in the truest sense of the word. Jeff became active in local Texas politics in 2004 and in 2006 he ran for and won a seat on the local City Council. After serving a successful three year term, he chose not to run again. Shortly thereafter, as a result of his noticeable Conservative credentials on City Council, he was recruited by local elected County officials to enter the Republican primary for House District 92 in 2009. That effort fell short, but again in 2019, elected officials convinced Jeff to re-engage and run again for the House seat that was being vacated in HD-92. That effort was ultimately successful. Jeff is known as a “straight shooter” and someone who will never mince words for the sake of politics. Truth and accountability are the keystone’s of his service and relationship with the Texas voters that he serves.2022 Ciencia Política Política y Gobierno
