Osteopath using hands-on and regenerative therapies to keep active bodies in motion
Hi, I’m Dr Mike, a double board-certified general surgeon and lifestyle medicine physician with certification in shockwave therapy. I've shifted from general surgery to lifestyle medicine and apply osteopathic principles to help motivated individuals stay motivated and stay or get active. I’m passionate about sports and regenerative medicine because I personally want to be able to move and function at a high level well into my older years. Over my life, I’ve played football, wrestled, threw shotput and javelin, soccer, baseball, deck hockey, golfed, and I work to stay fit with a combination of weight training, yoga, stretch, and jogging. My goal at CT Sports Recovery is to keep athletes of all ages able to participate in their chosen activity in full capacity and, if they are injured, get them back to play as fast as possible. We utilize realignment, dry needling, shockwave therapy, magnet therapy, PRP injections. I’ve also added hormone and peptide therapy to our clinic. I provide hormone therapy through Marek Health where I’ve treated thousands of patients with hormone replacement and peptide therapy. I mix my experience with evidence-based therapies and apply that so my patients can be the best athlete they can be!
