We discussed about how the CDC has announced the numbers of Autism Cases in America. We also touched up on Updates to Medicaid.

We discussed The SSI Savings Penalty Elimination Act has officially been reintroduced in Congress! For the first time in nearly 40 years, this bipartisan bill would raise the outdated asset limits for SSI, allowing disabled people and older adults to save for the future without risking their benefits.

It would:

1) Raise savings limits from $2,000 to $10,000

2) Raise savings limit with inflation moving forward.

3)End the marriage penalty

We also discussed the late NY State Budget as well as Ability 4 Us working to become a 501c3 Nonprofit.

We talked advocacy concerns with the administration and the possible cuts to Medicaid, SSI, SSD, SSDI.

We talked about diverse equity and inclusion that includes the staffing crisis.
