Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in San Jose

Police are closing off part of a shopping mall parking lot in the South Bay to investigate a shooting that left two people dead. Unhoused residents in Berkeley are bracing for a planned city sweep of a major encampment. Tensions are high at Oakland schools as the teachers and the school district return to the bargaining table today.
