Hal Sundt holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from Columbia University, where he also taught writing. His first book - "Warplane", How the Military Reformers Birthed the A-10 Warthog - was released October 3. His other work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Ringer, The American Scholar, and elsewhere.
