  • American Maoism | James Lindsay
    Sep 14 2023
With Liberty & Justice For All, Session 6 It's truly essential to grasp that the Left operates according to a strategy they call "dialectical political warfare." This dialectical approach is the very backbone of their operations, and it revolves around the fusion of truths with falsehoods. When we delve into history, we encounter none other than Mao Zedong, the Communist dictator of China until his passing in 1976, who stands out as the supreme tactician of dialectical political warfare. His tactics and the upheaval of the cultural revolution serve as vivid examples of the formidable and destructive potential of this approach. What's unsettling is that we're witnessing echoes of this right here in America and across the Western world today. While Mao touted "Marxism-Leninism with Chinese characteristics" in China, the contemporary "Woke" and environmental "Sustainability" movements can be understood as "Maoist Marxism with American Characteristics." In this lecture by James Lindsay of New Discourses, the parallels between our current circumstances and the strategies employed in Mao's China become starkly evident, leading us to the inescapable conclusion that we are currently in the midst of nothing less than American Maoism. https://asiansforliberty.org Support Asians for Liberty: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=UC83XMH7VM8NQ © 2023 Asians for Liberty. • Panel: Is America in a Cultural Revolution?
    Sep 14 2023
With Liberty & Justice For All, Session 5 In this session from the "With Liberty and Justice for All" conference, host Michael O'Fallon, alongside a panel featuring James Lindsay, Xi Van Fleet, Lily Tang Williams, Cathy Kiang, Sau O'Fallon, and Mike Zho, engages in a stimulating discourse focused on the contemporary American cultural revolution. The discussion unearths thought-provoking parallels between the present landscape of division, strife, disinformation, collectivization, and provocations experienced by Americans and the strategies employed by Mao Zedong over six decades ago in China. Mao's historical initiatives, such as the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution, are scrutinized for their role as platforms for propagating propaganda and categorizing the Chinese populace. These endeavors, characterized by fervent ideological indoctrination, aimed to forge a united "red" class adhering to Mao's revolutionary principles, while branding non-conformists as "black" enemies of the revolution. Mao's use of pervasive political slogans, plastered throughout China and disseminated through various mediums, are highlighted for their divisive role. The panel ultimately underscores the striking parallels between Mao's strategies in Communist China and their current replication in the United States, emphasizing how these tactics, which once dismantled centuries of familial and cultural traditions in China, are now being wielded to sow discord, advocate collectivism, and cultivate tribalism within American society. https://asiansforliberty.org Support Asians for Liberty: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=UC83XMH7VM8NQ © 2023 Asians for Liberty. • Where I Love is Becoming Where I Left | Lily Tang Williams
    Sep 13 2023
With Liberty & Justice For All, Session 4 Lily Tang Williams, born in China to working-class parents who endured the hardships of Mao's Cultural Revolution and Communist rule, found her long-sought freedom in America. With just $100 in her pocket and limited English skills, she tirelessly pursued her American dream, achieving a happy marriage, raising three children, and establishing successful businesses in New Hampshire, a place she values for its spirit of liberty. However, she now expresses concern that her descendants may not enjoy the same opportunities she had, as she witnesses the rise of authoritarianism in the United States. Drawing parallels between current political actions and her experiences in China, she fears the erosion of individual rights, parental autonomy, and economic freedom. Williams is determined to protect the American Dream by standing up against what she sees as a growing threat from the radical left, aiming to preserve the nation she loves for future generations. https://asiansforliberty.org Support Asians for Liberty: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=UC83XMH7VM8NQ © 2023 Asians for Liberty. • The Chinese Cultural Revolution | Xi Van Fleet
    Sep 13 2023
With Liberty & Justice For All, Session 3 In this presentation, I intended to provide a brief history of the Chinese Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) launched by China’s then dictator Mao Zedong. It was Mao’s attempt to seize absolute power and to remake China according to his own image. I tried to provide a sketch of the Cultural Revolution by answering the basic questions of why, what, who and how. I also tried to draw some parallels along the way to what is happening in America today. The Chinese Cultural Revolution was not an isolated historic event. It is important to understand the historic backdrop and important political events that eventually led to the outbreak of this revolution. I covered the Land Reform (1950-1953), the Anti-Rightist Campaign (1956-1957), the Great Leap Forward Campaign, and the Great Famine (1995-1962), all of which will help to make more sense out of the Cultural Revolution. -Xi Van Fleet https://sovereignnations.com Support Sovereign Nations: https://paypal.me/sovnations https://patreon.com/sovnations Follow Sovereign Nations: https://sovereignnations.com/subscribe/ © 2023 Sovereign Nations. • A Memoryless Generation | Cathy Kiang
    Sep 12 2023
With Liberty & Justice For All, Session 2 In this session from the With Liberty & Justice For All conference, Asians for Liberty co-founder Cathy Kiang begins by expressing her gratitude for courageous individuals committed to preserving freedom and truth. She shares her family's journey from poverty in China to achieving the American Dream, emphasizing the significance of cherishing liberty. Kiang, concerned about a generation losing sight of the value of freedom, draws parallels between Mao's Cultural Revolution in China and the current ideological shifts within America's education system. She urges people to remain vigilant and take a stand to protect freedoms threatened by cancel culture, equity, technological intrusion, and more. Ms. Kiang underscores the crucial need to defend free speech, equality, cognitive liberty, private property, the right to bear arms, privacy, the free market, travel, and dietary choices. She calls on individuals to educate themselves, get involved locally, and speak out in order to preserve these rights, while invoking divine blessings on their collective efforts. https://asiansforliberty.org Support Asians for Liberty: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=UC83XMH7VM8NQ © 2023 Asians for Liberty. • The Problem | Michael O'Fallon
    Sep 11 2023
With Liberty & Justice For All, Session 1 In this address at the With Liberty & Justice For All conference, Michael O’Fallon, founder of Sovereign Nations, explores the imperative of understanding the underlying causes driving the chaotic nature of our evolving world. He references Virgil's ancient wisdom and emphasizes the deliberate cultivation of fear among individuals as a significant factor in recent challenges. O'Fallon discusses the Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE) and its role in transitioning society into a constitution-less, fragmented, and eventually algorithmic global order. He observes a distressing trend of fostering fear, betrayal, and destruction among citizens, leading to calls for a fresh social contract and a complete overhaul of governance structures. O'Fallon highlights a top-down, bottom-up, and inside-out plan that has permeated various institutional structures, outlining a "great reset" affecting psychology, philosophy, spirituality, culture, and politics. He contends that the West faces a critical juncture with the rise of Asia and the dismantling of Western dominance, driven by elites and the Chinese Communist Party's One Belt One Road initiative. O'Fallon predicts a shift away from US Dollar hegemony, capitalism, and democracy towards distributism, socialism, and authoritarianism. He also discusses the role of Critical Race Theory in sowing division and undermining constitutional republics, ultimately framing these developments as part of a broader scheme to disrupt and dismantle the West as the East and Global South ascend. O'Fallon concludes by suggesting that the West is caught in the Thucydides Trap and warns of an impending transformation into an algorithmic, authoritarian panopticon. https://asiansforliberty.org Support Asians for Liberty: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=UC83XMH7VM8NQ © 2023 Asians for Liberty. • Truth Be Told | The American Asian, Ep. 6
    May 13 2023
What did you say? Oh, sorry – I wasn’t listening. Now if someone said any of the above to you, it can be flustering or annoying, depending on the importance of your message or the frequency of your attempts to say it. People want to be heard, people want to be able to speak their mind – or just simply share what’s in their heart. Do you know what I bought for my husband as a wedding gift many years ago? I bought us cell phones, so that we could communicate. Cell phones and services were not as affordable as they are today, but I understood that good communication between a couple was of utmost importance. Actually, good communication is essential between family, friends, and people in their communities… and while that truth is so simple to understand, it can be taken for granted. https://asiansforliberty.org Support Asians for Liberty: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=UC83XMH7VM8NQ © 2023 Asians for Liberty.
