  • Restoring Habitat through Nature-Based Solutions
    Oct 5 2025

Join us in "streaming" this conversation with Alicia Marrs, Director of Western Water for the National Wildlife Federation. You'll learn about Low Tech Process Based Restoration (LTPBR), which is a very practical, hands-on technique for improving degraded watersheds using natural materials to slow the flow of water. LTPBR helps restore habitats by reducing erosion, increasing infiltration, and restoring natural wetland functions. A bonus of this conservation strategy is that it can actively involve volunteers, including kids and families, in the installation of these LTPBR structures.

You can reach out to Alicia Marrs directly at MarrsA@nwf.org
