Furthermore, do you take notice of all the various social disorders plaguing American society, such as the increasing levels of poverty and all the health disparities within the nation. And out of what you observed, do you ever contemplate is God even taking notice of it all ?

Well, if you do then you have something in common with Habakkuk the Prophet and his feelings that he had for his community is something Christians should emulate, because it shows that you have a connection with the Holy Spirit that dwells within you. This is a healthy feeling to happen because it shows fellowship with God over the sins of your community.
