Apostles' Creed - Maker of Heaven and Earth

Why would an infinitely glorious God, in perfect relationship with Himself, create a finite world which He knew would fall into sin, be plunged into wickedness, such that He Himself would need to take on flesh — the Creator entering into creation — and die for it in order to save it from itself?
