Acerca de esta escucha
In this sneak peek to the NIAA's upcoming conference: Producing Protein for a Food Insecure and Uncertain World, we sit down with Norbrook's Director of Technical Services and NIAA Co-Chair Eric Moore and Midan Marketing Public Relations Manager and NIAA Board Member Kelly Loganbill. The conversation progresses through stigmas around antimicrobial stewardship and consumer worries about how antibiotic use in livestock production could affect their food supply. Loganbill also discusses the difference in consumer groups at the meat case and what drives consumer purchasing decisions.
In a final comment on the episode Moore states, " Don't be afraid, be bold, be confident and say this is what we do. This is how we do it. And this is the right way to do it... In the past 11 years of doing this, I think it's important to remind producers that ... Hey you're doing a great job and you just need to say you are."
