Acerca de esta escucha
Join the Angery American Nation podcast as we welcome Paul Christopher from Lost Ways Survival and Homestead. We'll be discussing Paul and his wife's endeavors to help during Hurricane Helene and it's aftermath with other topics in this weeks episode. Paul Christopher, raised in Aberdeen, North Carolina, learned resourcefulness from his parents—his mother taught him to cook gourmet meals from discarded fish backbones, and his father showed him how to build a house from scrap materials. The youngest of four, he gained hunting and fishing skills from his brothers, treating the woods as both playground and food source, which made his Boy Scout progression natural. Mastering skills like food preservation and blacksmithing, he embraced what he calls "the lost ways of life." A 22-year career fireman, Paul served on specialized rescue teams and, as a Fire Service Instructor, discovered his love for teaching. This led him to lead outdoor classes in homesteading, wilderness survival, self-rescue, and bushcraft. With his wife, Becky, he co-founded Lostways Survival and Homestead. Beyond his North Carolina homestead, Paul teaches nationwide with groups like Georgia Bushcraft LLC and The Woodsrunner School, offering courses inspired by his life to preserve fading traditions.
