Yehudit Barsky is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy. Fluent in Arabic and Hebrew, Ms. Barsky is a Middle East counterterrorism specialist.
Yehudit conducts research and led the Division on Middle East and International Terrorism at the American Jewish Committee for fourteen years.
Ms. Barsky has been published in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Chicago Tribune, amongst others. She regularly briefs media, law enforcement agencies and Jewish communities on the implications of terrorism on U .S. policy. She is a founder of the Secure Community Network which focuses on homeland security for the Jewish community and also served as its senior advisor and Middle East specialist for intelligence and analysis. She also serves on the security advisory council of the Community Security Service, which has trained over 10,000 security volunteers to protect synagogues throughout the US.
Ms. Barsky is the author of Islamist Antisemitism in the United States, Hamas: The Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine, The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, and Hizballah: The Party of God.
