    Hannah King plans to keep putting her best foot forward.

    She was named for the Black Ferns squad for the upcoming Pacific Four Series, and joined Lesley Murdoch for a chat about her selection.

    King also discussed the challenges she faces in getting a hold of the starting 10 jersey in a new-look squad ahead of the upcoming Rugby World Cup.

  • Aaron Tallott: Burnham Golf Club President discusses the club and its growth

    With thanks to the Elmwood Trading Company, this week Lesley was joined by Aaron Tallott from the Burnham Golf Club, a pleasant rural club directly opposite the Burnham Army Camp south of Christchurch.

    The club is rebuilding after a tough few years, but membership numbers are on a steady incline as Rolleston and Selwyn continue to grow.

  • Taha Kemara: Crusaders player on being ruled out of the rest of the season with injury, re-signing
    May 3 2025

    A bittersweet week for Taha Kemara.

    Kemara has been ruled out of the remainder of the rugby season after suffering an ACL injury while playing against the Highlanders last week.

    On the positive side, he’s confirmed he has re-signed with the Crusaders through until 2028.

    A young man still making his way in the demands of professional rugby Kemara is excited to continue his journey with a club that has produced a number of world class 10s and is hoping that he can continue that legacy upon his return from injury.

    Kemara spoke with Lesley Murdoch mid-week about the injury and re-signing.
