The attorney once trusted to protect Aliza Sherman is now accused of taking her life.

Twelve years after the Beachwood nurse and mother of four was brutally stabbed outside her attorney’s downtown Cleveland office, Gregory Moore faces 10 criminal counts — including aggravated murder and kidnapping — in her death.

Gregory Moore, 51, of Sagamore Hills, was indicted on May 2 on 10 criminal counts in the death of Sherman on March 24, 2013. Sherman, a 53-year-old in-vitro fertilization nurse and mother of four, was stabbed 11 times outside the Stafford Law Company in downtown Cleveland, where Moore worked, and she was scheduled to meet with him that Sunday night. She died later that day.

This special episode of "Aliza: Her Story" explores this latest update in the 12-year cold case ahead of Moore's extradition hearing on May 14 in Texas and scheduled arraignment on May 16 at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center.
