To me, liking you (or me) is key and more importantly than that, is trusting you (or myself). Trust is the biggest differentiator when it comes to choosing one business over another or one creative entrepreneur to partner with over another creative and/or entrepreneur.

I made it to day 8 of my social media fast. It is important for me to discuss the "Perfect digital image" when online.

Many individuals, especially young ladies fall into depression and "lack" by seeing perfect images of their idols, celebrities, and their peers or friend's highlight reel. People post their great and perfect videos and photos online rather than the ugly and noncute content.

As a former perfectionist, I personally had to break away from this or I would get trapped into not posting my journey or making it look too perfect!

Be your best self in this moment and document it as is. Do not wait for approval, nor should you compare yourself to others.

Think about what is holding you back. Is it perfection?

Are you afraid of your current digital image?

Is it not perfect?

Do it perfect or not. You are you and if you have a business or product, people want to see you and your product, rather if it is good or bad.

As a professional photographer, I could help you look good at the minimum. By why should we feel pressured to changing your authentic self to make your digital image look and feel perfect online?

This is a valid question.

Day 7 of my social media fast. We are approaching the end of this journey. I have documented the process and will link the final book and other items below.

This episode, I would love to talk about satisfaction.

As we are all on this long entrepreneur journey as creatives and/or business owners, we have up and down seasons and periods in our business endeavors.

We have to look and analyze if we are completely satisfied with what we are doing and where things are headed.

The definition of satisfaction is, the fulfillment of one's wishes, expectations, needs, and the pleasures it derives from. It could be from a payment of debt, fulfillment of an obligation/claim especially in reparation of an injustice or wrong.

What are some ways you are going to ensure you are completely satisfied?

Wow! 6 Days strong, fasting from social media.

Everyone is asking, when I will return back on and that I am missing a lot. I gave a warning way before time and may only be on for a day or two and take another few days off social media.

When I am on social media, I use it as a research tool and to connect/stay informed with my network. I know many times we could get caught up in the endless scroll and overly consume what is on social media. If anyone is a content creator as myself, it is important to be more of a producer of the content than a consumer of the content.

The question stands, are you a producer or a consumer? Are you by chance both, 50/50?

If you are a consumer, are you consuming the right types of information and content?

Something to strongly think about.

Day 5 of fasting from social media.

Systems are important, yet many entrepreneurs and business owners do not have great systems in place or none at all when first starting out.

For smooth operations and growth of your company here are some suggested systems most businesses and (creative) entrepreneurs need:

-A CRM (Customer or Client Relationship Management)

-SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)

-A FMS (Financial Management System)

-IMS (Information Management System)

-CDS (Customer Development System)

-PDS (Product Development System) also for services

-SDS (Supplier Development System)

-OMS (Operations Management System)

There are also some systems for technology and equipment which are rapidly improving month to month.
