  • After 18 years of marriage, Ken Jenkins—also known as "Ken J"—lost his wife, and he turned to writing as a way to cope with his grief. Inspired by Kevin LeVar's song A Heart that Forgives, a powerful anthem urging people to embrace forgiveness as part of God's calling, Ken J wrote the screenplay for A Heart that Forgives. The film, which follows his personal journey through loss, was released in 2016 and went on to receive numerous awards from faith-based organizations, film festivals, and international groups. In 2024, the story continued with the release of A Heart that Forgives 2, now in the form of a series. Ken J is also the author of three books and has had a successful career in the software industry. He is a proud father of two daughters and currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
