  • Mining billionaire: "Americans have no idea what we are facing." AIA Weekly Market Update 1.10.26
    Jan 13 2026

The US is in a big jam. It has not invested in critical minerals or in processing them for forty years. The US is now in a winner-take-all competition with China that requires cheap energy and critical minerals. Most people, and investors in particular, are ignorant of these facts. This is a tremendous opportunity for AIA readers and listeners.

  • FED resumes QE by another name. Metals scream higher. AIA Weekly Update 12.13.25
    Dec 13 2025

The FED cut rates this week and also announced it will be buying $40 billion per month in T-Bills, but only for a few months to maintain "market liquidity".

Metals rallied hard and seem to be sniffing out the new QE. The Fed just ended QT and is now resuming QE. Recall the Treasury needs to roll billions in US debt next year.

    Nov 29 2025

In the AIA Newsletter Subscriber Discord group, I announced a week or so ago that I was taking positions in some silver mining stocks that got flushed after the recent big moves higher.

That worked out nicely as silver made a new all-time high in nominal terms on Friday.

I believe one can use extremes in gold and silver sentiment to move in and out of these volatile stocks to maximize returns.

  • US overvalued, China and EM's undervalued. Guess what I am buying? AIA Market Update 11.22.25
    Nov 24 2025

The US market is historically overvalued. Overvaluation typically leads to lower forward returns. Conversely, China and emerging markets are undervalued. I am finding and buying undervalued stocks across the emerging market space.

  • Is a 2000/2008 economic superstorm developing in the US economy? AIA Weekly Update 11.15.25
    Nov 16 2025

Data is starting to come in, which is showing weakness in housing and the tech sector.

It is not a zero percent chance that we could be facing a super storm like the tech bubble in 200 and then the GFC housing bust in 2008. What does that do to the overvalued stock market?
