We spoke about Ben’s life and work, from the “redistribution” of garbage to New York’s freshly gentrified Lincoln Centre, breaking into the Pentagon, and helping to inspire the current tactics of the black bloc. Further, we explore the practice of decommodified art against the commercialism of Andy Warhol, and what lessons the radicals of today can learn from the history of a militant, psychedelic surrealism.
