“Send Coach John a message”
I found a great recipe for living a great life. It has 3 parts, which for me is easy (still tough for me) to remember and connect with. This gem comes from Reads with Ravi (@readswithravi) and it reminds me of going after and building a “great” life that is made up of my definition and not so much of what the “world” says our life should be made up of. Awesome quote here: “The only way to achieve greatness in life is to have patience, consistency, and discipline.” - David Goggins (who wrote a powerful book, “Can’t Hurt Me” which I read last year). This is connected with a few other items that have been on my mind and heart that I want to share in a few future episodes. Those 3 items of patience, consistency and discipline are things that I have been connected with and sometimes focused on - but usually not connected together and not as deep as I need to be focused on. Again, intentional focus is something that I need to connect with these 3 items for sure! Thanks for listening.
