    Alexia Hoffman

Success you can live with! 60 hours/week to 10 hours with 4 kids in 2.5 years while maintaining income and starting new businesses! Hire & onboard a VA in less than 10 hours

Alexia Hoffman had four daughters in 30 months, a rental portfolio of over 80 doors, a coffee shop, and a real estate business she’d built from the ground up since she was 19 years old.

And she was doing almost all of it herself.

At her peak she was working 60-hour weeks — not because she didn’t know better, but because she hadn’t yet built the system to get out. She was the bottleneck in her own business, and she knew it.

So she built a framework. A repeatable, no-fluff process to hire and fully onboard a VA in under 10 hours — and she used it to get her weeks down to 10 hours without losing income, clients, or control.

Eight months after having her fourth baby, she ran her first half marathon. Nine months postpartum, she completed her first triathlon. That’s what the time back actually meant.

Alexia is a TEDx speaker, 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year, and the creator of the Delegation Clarity Framework. She’s not teaching theory — she’s teaching exactly what she did, in the season of life your listeners are probably in right now.

If your audience is full of high-achieving women who are building something real but running out of runway to do it alone, Alexia is the guest that moves them from stuck to actually doing it.

    Noelle Cablay

A deeply honest, literary memoir about facing a rare cancer and making meaning when life breaks open.

I’m an author, musician, and university professor who wrote Washed in Blue after facing a rare cancer diagnosis. In the book, I not only share my lived experience but also explore the realities of treatment, offering a clear and honest look at what patients actually go through. My work brings together emotional honesty, thoughtful reflection, and a faith-informed perspective to examine the mental, physical, and spiritual dimensions of illness. I’m especially interested in conversations that move beyond surface-level inspiration and get into the real work of making meaning out of difficult experiences, something I’ve spent much of my life both living and teaching.

  • Abstract Essay in its sixth season features Christopher Bauer — Legacy Teacher, Changemaker, and Old Soul — who helps entrepreneurial men raise conscious families, create meaningful impact in their local communities, and build legacies that outlast them, as my guest. In this episode, we explore purpose-driven leadership, the responsibility of modern fatherhood, and how intentional living can shape not only personal success but also future generations.

    Christopher Bauer

Legacy Teacher - Changemaker - Old Soul. Helping Entrepreneurial men raise conscious families, create impact in their local community & build a legacy which outlasts them.

I grew up in Victoria BC and spent most of my life on Vancouver Island. Graduating in 2008 and then spending 5 years going to post-secondary school... I have a Drafting Certificate, a Diploma in Social Sciences, A Diploma in Collision/Refinishing and an Associates Degree in Applied Service Management.

Built my first business in 2014/2015 - Reborn Relics - my classic car restoration shop. I learnt the hard way due to getting mentorship in 2017... that I hired a bad employee. That ended up creating more problem and challenges beyond the financial losses.

In 2017 I started my first online business venture along side the restoration shop - a digital home design business. I spent that year and 2018 promoting it which did not go the best, even with talking to local entrepreneur groups. After investing 5k into the business I only made $500 and due to wanting to expand the market - I tried doing a preliminary design of a multifamily building which got me in trouble with the old boys club (AIBC). That along with the lack of smaller homes design sales pushed me to fold the business in 2019 out of frustration and trying to get a slice of an oversaturated market.

Over 2020-2021 I pivoted and built out a online training business, after going thru Knowledge Broker Blueprint from Tony Robbins and Dean G. It is now known as Mastermind.com.

In the summer of 2024 I got a co-author book deal thru linkedin - Cracking the Rich Code Vol 15, which went international best seller in Dec of the same year.

Leaving Legacy Live is my primary business focus and it is an 8 session/ 22 hour live training for entrepreneurial men on how to raise conscious families, create local impact and leave a legacy which outlasts them.

Beyond my business experience, I have more hobbies and interests than most people.

    In no particular order....

    - I got into Archery in my teens and then got back into it again my 30's, getting a traditional horse bow (50lb & 60lb draw weights) and a compound bow.

    - Planning on having a large library in my next home - I am collecting books when possible to fill it, so I have a large book collection of mostly non-fictional work (business, self help, reference material...)

    - Being someone into cars, I have a large classic car collection which I am in the process or restoring (14 total). With my knowledge and experience I am also rebuilding insurance write offs to get into newer sports cars for less than retail.

    - I have experience growing Orchids for 17 years and have a collection of around 200 of them.

    - In the process of tooling up for bladesmithing as I see that as a form of functional art.

    - Since 2020 I have gotten into having Chickens on my acreage.

    - Even though I did not become an Architect, I am still very interested in old world building design along with making modern homes more energy efficient to save in annual costs.

  • Abstract Essay, in its sixth season, features Mike Proctor, Founder and President of StewardRight, as my guest. In this compelling conversation, Mike shares his insights on purposeful leadership, responsible stewardship, and how organizations can create meaningful, long-term impact. Drawing from his experience guiding leaders and businesses, he discusses the importance of values-driven decision-making, sustainable growth, and empowering teams to lead with integrity and vision in an ever-changing world.
    Apr 13 2026

    Michael Proctor

    Founder and President of StewardRight

My name is Michael Proctor, founder of StewardRight. I built my RIA from the ground up alongside a team committed to excellence and deep responsibility.

My work is supported by credentials as a CFP®, RICP®, and CVGA, but my perspective has been shaped by something more personal: wealth is rarely simple. It is emotional, relational, and often messy.

    Stewardship Is a Calling

For me, stewardship is not a marketing slogan or a branding exercise. It is a calling and a heavy responsibility.

My Christian worldview teaches that every dollar is a resource entrusted to us, meant to be managed with wisdom. That responsibility extends beyond portfolios and into the home, where money often becomes a source of friction rather than a tool for unity.

The Industry Has Trained People to Expect Too Little

The financial industry has conditioned clients to settle for far too little. Many firms charge high fees while delivering average, index like outcomes that most investors could achieve on their own. I believe that if a client can do it alone, we should be honest enough to say so. If you are paying for professional management, you should receive professional value.

The Friendship Tax and Emotional Shortcuts

I often hear people defend an underperforming advisor because they are a longtime friend. They say, “It’s not about the rate of return.” To me, saying investing is not about return is like saying going out to eat is not about flavor. Personally, I could open a dog food restaurant and charge twenty dollars a plate if the market was there, but I would not call it fine dining. Too often, we undermine our financial health with emotional shortcuts just to avoid social awkwardness.

    Who I Serve

I serve disciplined savers, people who have already done the hard work of building a foundation. Now they are ready for high end stewardship and a clearer path toward building lasting family wealth. Much of my work involves bridging the gap between spouses. It is difficult to talk about money when you cannot see your spouse on the other side of the coin. Because couples are wired differently, financial planning often becomes a series of relational missteps.

    A Student of People

I am a student of human wiring, communication, gifting, and the way people are built. My goal is to help individuals and families operate in alignment with how they were designed, and to have direct conversations about the weight of stewardship and the shortcuts that compromise the future.

  • Abstract Essay, in its sixth season, features John Cobb, a strategic advisor who helps business leaders avoid the twin failures of weak governance and weak messaging, strengthening leadership clarity, organizational direction, and long-term business success, as my guest.
    Apr 12 2026

    John Cobb

I help business leaders avoid the twin failures of weak governance and weak messaging.

Podcast audiences want guests who can connect expertise to real-world impact. My work has always been about helping leaders see clearly in the moments when it matters most.

I advise boards, entrepreneurs, and investors through Pholus Advisory, where the focus is on complex markets and high-pressure transitions. Much of my work begins at inflection points: a business preparing for exit, a board under reputational pressure, or an organization where governance and revenue are collapsing at the same time. These are situations where conventional playbooks break down, and leaders need clarity to protect both trust and growth.

People hear words like governance, post-conflict economies, or go-to-market strategy and want to yawn. They sound abstract, but in reality they are some of the most important and interesting challenges leaders face today. That is why I enjoy turning jargon into stories people actually remember. My philosophy is simple: if the audience cannot use it on Monday morning, I have failed them. I do not believe in abstract frameworks. I share the mess, the mistakes, and the plain-spoken lessons that leaders actually carry forward when they face their own problems.

What does that mean for a podcast audience? It means I bring case-based insights, not theories. I can share what actually happens when governance fails, why crises escalate, and how leaders can avoid turning small risks into existential threats. I have advised across the Americas, Africa, and Europe, and those cross-border experiences help me show listeners how fragile environments operate and what that means for their own decision-making.

Beyond governance, I also have a background in direct response marketing and messaging strategy, which gives me a rare perspective: I understand both the discipline required to build internal trust and the storytelling needed to build external credibility. That combination allows me to offer listeners lessons that apply whether they are board members, business owners, entrepreneurs, or NGO leaders.

Hosts who book me get a guest who is serious about preparation and generous with stories and takeaways. Audiences walk away with memorable frameworks and practical insights they can apply immediately; whether that is preparing for a business exit, building investor confidence, or simply learning how to lead under pressure.
